A traditional dinner in an Agriturismo, set a stone’s throw from the Hotel, with a full menu from appetiser to dessert, made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.
Agriturismo Corte Barisone lies a short distance from our Hotel. Andrea is the owner, and he has renovated the family’s old home buildings, transforming the stables and courtyards into comfortable, characteristic premises where guests can enjoy traditional Sardinian cuisine. For generations, the Secci family members have worked to turn the fruits of their labours on their estate into cheese, bread, meat and sweets. An unmissable way to finish the day, right in the heart of the historic town centre.
Guests can receive expert guidance in learning to make traditional Sardinian fresh pasta. By request, an experienced chef teaches guests how to make the dough and craft the different shapes of fresh and stuffed pasta for which Sardinia is famous, macarrones de punzu, ravioli and culurgiones, all within the comfort of the Hotel itself.
Guided tasting sessions – Aperitifs with local products, olive oil tastings and a tour of the vineyards in the Valle di Oddoene area to learn all about Cannonau red wine.
